An odd question perhaps?
I bought some self raising white flour a few months ago for the purpose of making puddings. Puddings were made but I don't really want to be making any more so what else can I do with flour that's nice and healthy? In an edible sense of course, none of yer rudeness please ;-P

I'm putting them here, so we can all support each other!

I am aiming to walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift (and I work on the 6th floor!), and get back to my yoga!

Toned bod, here I come!

I have some fantastic trousers that I wanted to wear into town yesterday. But they are now too small, and the new ones I bought over the summer are now feeling tight. This is depressing. I have a feeling it's the pill, but I know if I get too big I'll be taken off it...
The really annoying thing is, I tried so hard over the summer.

Ok, I've lost two stone, but want to lose at least another one, preferably two, and having eaten an obscene amount of chocolate cake this evening I've realised I've lost the motivation.

Can I please have some assistance, either in the form of telling me how to keep my motivation or poking my belly whenever I'm tempted to eat yummy fattening stuff?
It doesn't help that the girls at work keep leaving a dinner aside for me, and this is food designed to put weight on the clients so they're less likely to get pressure sores!
Oh, and the relatives of clients keep supplying chocolates as thanks for us doing such a good job and deserving treats...

diet + takeaway = ?
i've had plans to have a chinese takeaway tonight for longer than i have been on a diet, and have put it in place as a little treat for myself. would still like to not fall totally off the wagon, so does anyone have any tips on how to eat chinese takeaway (i know it's dead healthy if you cook it yourself) without also getting a total lard injection?

Think I'm losing weight, ooh and hello all.
Firstly, you are all lovely ladies and I think you are all fab! And it's nice to have a place like this to talk about weight-y stuff without the cries of 'But you're lovely' or 'Well, I did want to say something'

I've been doing 10 salutes to the sun, 20 sit-ups, 30 bottom crunches, 30 bust thingys and 20 side to side thingys a day (well kinda) for a while, and finally I think it's making a difference.

I still have a massive arse (but short of lipo, that ain't going anywhere), but my top half is looking better!

However, I do these excersises in secret cos my housemate is a real pain about it all. Brown bread isn't healthy, neither is salad, but fried egg sarnies - well!

It's enough to make one scream, but anyway enough of this wittering. Hello to you all *waves*. Pass the cake!

carrots, then.
carrots can be interesting! they can! they can! see, look, if you eat them at a very high speed (while trying not to bite your fingers off), then laugh maniacally and ask 'what's up doc?', they can be very funny indeed.

they are not good for new fillings though.

i have just discovered the sainsburys' blue parrot cafe range of little healthy snacks in bags. they're relatively cheap, and make a nice mid-afternoon nibble.. mmm.

oooh, looky.

erm. okay, first post then.

i have created this community as a kind of helpful all-friends-together approach to the everlasting drudgery of trying to lose weight. all are welcome, and i hope a few people decide to join so that we can all help each other through the nastiness and then celebrate looking foxy like a foxy thing when we're there.

guess that's it. i'll just sit back and watch the members roooooollll in. ;0)

seriously, folks - if a few people join i think it could be A Good Thing For All Concerned - and we can have a bit of discussion then as to Stuff That We Can Do.
